Features & Benefits of the FESTOOL Sliding compound mitre saw KAPEX KS 60 E
Freedom to roam
Compact and lightweight design achieved through the use of flush-mounted guide rods; features ergonomic carrying handles, cord holder, and transport safety device.
The highest level of accuracy
Double bearings. Cutting with the Festool saw is a breeze thanks to the twin-column guide that keeps the blade precisely in place.
Wide range of applications
It's thanks to the 60-degree mitre angles on both ends. Using the snaps on the table, the desired mitre angle can be quickly locked into place for quick selection. All other angles can be chosen and changed at will.
Thanks to an inclination angle on both sides of up to 47 or 46 degrees. The angle is adjusted via the highly accessible and easy to use clamp in combination with the extremely precise scale.
Also for long workpieces
The extension table, which can be pulled out separately, provides reliable and accurate support for long workpieces as well.
Dust-free conditions that allow for a clear view of the workpiece
The chips are vacuumed up at their source by the extraction system and a Festool mobile dust extractor, making for a clean and safe workplace.
The groove feature adds even more adaptability.
The cutting depth limiter allows for quick and accurate grooving as well.
Saves time, saves errors
The SM-KS bevel makes the rapid measurement of interior and exterior angles and subsequent transfer to the saw simple and precise.
Superior visibility of the scribe mark
The shadow of the saw blade is cast onto the material by the LED spotlight (included in all SET versions), illuminating clean cutting lines.
The additional feet (available as accessories) raise the KS 60 workbench to the exact height of a Systainer SYS 1. This can therefore also be used as a workbench and enables long workpieces to be reliably supported.
When the spindle stop is in place, changing the saw blade is a simple and risk-free process. The appropriate Allen key is kept in a secure location, making it easy to access whenever you need it.
For right and left handed users
Switch and handle are in a central position so they are just as easy for right-handed and left-handed users to operate.
Always adapted to the working material
Variable speed preselection for adapting to the working material.
More mobile with the base frame
Take the Kapex on the go with the base frame for the KS 60 is a stand and a transport frame in one – for even easier transportation of the KAPEX KS 60. (optional in some units)
